The legends of Elba Island

An ice cream parlour of refined taste

Down to the last detail

Midà has managed the whole interior decoration project for the Zero Gradi ice-cream parlours on Elba Island. An ambitious project in which every element has been studied to the last detail.

Ancient inspirations

An example is the ice-cream counter with the option of different temperatures: it has been conceived with a framework in multilayer wood and 18 ice-cream jars, matching perfectly the steel top with double sorbet makers, nests for sorbet containers and the relative stainless steel lids. The front is decorated with a combination of wood and tiles, whose viticulture motifs hint at an old legend: it is said that the name Capoliveri derives from Latin Liber Deus, also known as Bacchus.
